After a successful inaugural edition of the Indian Sports Honours in 2017, the Second Edition was held on 27th September 2019. A series of events aimed at engaging key stakeholders in Indian sport culminates with an awards ceremony where India’s best performers are recognized and rewarded for their achievements in their respective sporting disciplines.

The ISH also recognizes the fact that funds and support are critical for achieving excellence in sport. It encourages the forces that sustain a sporting revolution across the country. The Virat Kohli Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting the underprivileged sections of society, provides scholarships to promising young athletes, as well as individuals and initiatives that have promoted sport at the grassroot level.
