Sardar Singh became the youngest Indian field hockey captain in 2008. In a career spanning across 12 years, Sardar has represented the country in 314 games. He was also part of the victorious Indian hockey team which clinched the gold medal in the 2014 Asian Games and has also won gold at the Asian Champions Trophy and Asia Cup.

Yogeshwar Dutt is a former wrestler who has represented India at the Commonwealth Games, Commonwealth Championships, Asian Championships, Asian Games and the Olympics. His impressive performances were on show as he clinched gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and 2014. Gold at the Asian Championships in 2008 and 2012. At the 2012 London Olympics he won the bronze medal.

Fondly known as the queen of Indian track and field, PT Usha made her mark winning gold medals at the Asian Championships and Asian Games in 100m, 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay.
